This is also available in silver, part number HIT3S. One of the nice things about this bike rack is that it is made of a durable extruded aluminum. So that means it's going to be really durable and long lasting. Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mount 2-bike rack, part number HRB2. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. I'm going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release those. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With that out of the way we'll take a measurement. more

Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Archway XT 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. This is a trunk mount bike rack that holds up to two bikes. We already have one bike installed, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I'd like to show off is the fact that it has an integrated cable lock here at the end. You wrap it around your bikes, and come up to the front portion here, and then lock it into place with the included lock core. The cradles are movable along the arms and have this nice shock resistant padding here, so your bikes won't get scratched up once they're being installed. It grips your bike at three points. more

Today on this 2015 Dodge Dart we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack 2 bike rack. Part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is installed, we're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 zip strips up on the top here, and then 1 off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack where the bike's in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. To do that, there is tabs on either side of the zip strips. You just push those in at the same time and lift them out. more

Today on this 2015 Dodge Dart we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima fullback 2 bike rack, part number Y02634. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike actually attaches to the rack, you're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 zip strips up at the top here and then 1 off to the side here. Which, is going to act as and anti sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike's in front of it. Also, at the front we have this integrated cable lock, which you'll wrap around the bike in the front and attach it to this point here for some additional security. more

Today, on our 2015 Dodge Dart, we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Trunk-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is HRF6-2. Now, we already have our bike loaded up. We're first going to show you how we secure that down. Then, we'll go over some features of the rack. We have two cradles in place with three straps. Two on our frame and then one as our anti-sway strap here in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release our strap. Once we have those straps removed, we can remove our bike and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps, so you don't lose or damage any of them. Once again, they may be a little difficult to replace since the bike rack is new. As you work with it a little more, it will get easier. Now, let's take a few measurements. Our first one is going to be our overall distance added to the back of our vehicle with our arms hanging out. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Raceway Trunk Mounted Platform-Style Two Bike Carrier, part number th9003. Now before beginning our test fit we'll first need to refer to the included instructions to see what number our fit dial should be at. After placing our fit dial on number seven we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk.We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then turn the green knobs on the left and right hand side of the carrier to tighten down the straps and secure the carrier to the trunk. Now with our Thule Raceway secured to our Dodge Dart we're ready to load up our bike.We'll raise the frame hooks and lower the platform. We'll undo the gray lever to slide out the wheel trays and we'll undo the tray straps. more

After placing our fit dial at number seven we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk.We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then turn the gray knobs on the left and the right hand side of the carrier to tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. Now we're ready to load our bike. We'll lift up the gray lever at the center of the carrier to swing the cradle arms out.Note that the cradle arms do need to be level or slightly angled up. more

Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Dart we'll be test fitting the Thule Passage trunk mounted two bike carrier, part number TH910XT. Now before beginning our test fit we'll first need to refer to the included instructions to determine what number our fit dial should be at. After setting our fit dial to number 7, we'll begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles trunk. We'll put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk just above the tail lights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. After securing the excess strap we're ready to load our bike. We'll undo the cradle straps, place the bike into the frame cradles, and secure it with the straps and that completes today's test fit for the Thule Passage trunk mounted two bike carrier, part number TH910XT, on our 2013 Dodge Dart. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition trunk-mounted two-bike carrier, part number HRF6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place the carrier onto the vehicles trunk. We'll use the top set of black levers on the left and right hand side of the carrier to adjust the carrier to fit the trunk.Once weve establish this position, we'll clamp the black levers down. We'll then put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, just below the taillight, and the bottom straps at the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure our Hollywood Racks Expedition to our Dodge Dart. After securing the access lock, we're ready to load our bike.We'll now flip out the lower set of black levers to swing the cradle arms out. more

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Dart, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mounted two bike carrier, part number HRB2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll simply place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk. When you place the carrier onto the vehicle's trunk, you will need to position the carrier so the cradle arms will be parallel to the ground or slightly angled up.Luckily, when we set our carrier onto the vehicle, the carrier was already adjusted. We'll now put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. Note there is no specific order in which the straps need to be attached to the vehicle.You may need to open up your trunk to get the side hooks into position. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure the Hollywood Racks Baja to our Dodge Dart. more
